Together with colleagues at SCAS, we’re delighted to welcome Colin Dennis as our new Group Chair, who has now officially taken up post.
This marks the first substantive appointment for the South Central and South East Coast Ambulance Group and is an important milestone in its development as both Trusts continue to work more closely together to share expertise, strengthen collaboration and deliver the best possible care for our communities.
In a message issued today to almost 10,000 colleagues across SCAS and SECAmb, Colin recognises the strong foundations already in place – highlighting each organisation’s distinct strengths, proud histories and shared commitment to delivering excellent care, while thanking staff for their professionalism, compassion and dedication.
As we build on these strengths together, we also look forward to welcoming Simon Ashton as Group Chief Executive in the autumn – an exciting next step as we continue shaping a strong, shared future for our staff, patients and communities.
